Aa Week a success!

Whew! I'm taking a breath. This week went by quickly-and I feel like it was also a success.

We went over all of our preschool rules and procedures, learned a little more about each other, learned all about the letter Aa, and apples.

In our zoo phonics program, the letter Aa says, "Aa is for Allie Alligator". We then make the a sound and put our hands into little Alligator mouths. Ask your kids if they remember. Also, we learned a days of the week song, an alligator poem, and our good-bye song.

On apple day we did a fun painting, apple stamping and an apple taste test. We tasted yellow, red and green apples. Ask your child which was their favorite!!

Things have started well and I'm excited about the new year.
Please feel free to comment. I'd love to hear what you think about what your kids are coming home telling you!

Jenna is loving preschool. She came home and said that she learned that apples have stars in them. She is learning a lot so far. She also keeps saying how much she loves snack. For such a picky eater, she sure loves snacks.

I will have to have you teach me the days of the week song! Parker continues to sing it nonstop... but after "Tuesday" he always sings "Threesday!" Thanks for all you are doing! :)
