On Monday and Tuesday we celebrated Pp by staying in our pajamas and eating pancakes. We also did a penguin party paper and popcorn P's on purple paper! I hope your children can now identify P's! We had a blast. And thanks to my mom for my pink penguin pj's she gave me for Christmas last year. Who knew they could come in so handy!
Our Valentine celebration was a blast. We made Valentine hats and the kids decorated their Valentine envelopes.
We played an ABC heart recognition game to reinforce the letter sounds and names. We also played musical hearts, where the children walked along numbered hearts and when the music stopped, whichever number I called, the child standing on that heart received a prize!
Lastly, we delivered our Valentines! The kids were so excited to give them to each other.
What a great day.
Oh, and we also had really healthy snacks today to balance out all of the sugar! Apples, crackers and cheese. I did send home rice crispy treat hearts...that should keep them jumping for you!
