The letter Vv we focued on Veggies! We did a taste test where we prepared and then tasted and then rated the following vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, corn, peas, cucumbers, edamame, and potatos. I was very surprised about how well the kids did tasting everything. The deal was, they had to just taste it and if they didn't like it they didn't have to finish it. They really surprised me! And sometimes themselves too! I heard several, "I don't like that", but when they actually tasted it, turns out they liked it more than they thought! We also did a little letter Vv booklet with lots of Vv words.
Our Easter Celebration was tons of fun! Complete with bunny ears, easter egg bead necklaces, easter cupcakes, an easter egg hunt (with ABC's and Number's inside for the children to identify for a treat!) and my favorite project the rainbow bunny! I hope you will all take the time to read the poem that was on your child's project about the rainbow bunny. We painted with marbles to make the effect that the bunny has and I think they turned out great! Lots of fun and super busy for all. I hope your Easter weekend is great!!!
