We made a little umbrella out of coffee filters and construction paper. I love they way they turned out looking tie-dyed. We talked about the letter Uu and for some reason, it's a hard one to remember. Work on testing your kids on the name and sound and shape of the Uu. We talked about lots of different Uu words as well and did an activity on listening and following directions while coloring those Uu words. Did you notice if your kids' pictures were the right colors? Take a look!
For Yellow day I thought I should give the kids a little bit of sunshine-since we've been seriously lacking it around here! I love that they came dressed in yellow! It really brightened up our room. We made little yellow easter chicks, which turned out even cuter than I thought! We made crazy 8's and practiced writing the number 8 until we were dizzy! We are really working on identifying and being able to count and correlate the correct number with the correct physical number of objects. They had to pick 8 shapes to stick on their crazy 8's. We also counted and matched candy. See if your child had the correct number and drill them on which number is which.
