Cc

This week we tackled the letter C.  We talked about Clowns and Cookies as well as Seeing Circles.
I appreciate the parent volunteer who came to help with cookie decorating and also enjoyed seeing the creations when it was time to walk out the door.  Hopefully the children had as much fun as it looked like!  We talked about clowns and played "Who took the cookie from the cookie jar."  (It's an instant HIT!)
The story I read to them was called "The Cookie Store Cat".
On our Seeing Circles day, we completed our "letter C" paper and the children all made a caterpillar out of circles.  They had to much fun trying to guess what we were going to make from the circles. Children's minds are SO CREATIVE!  I never think of half of the things that they come up with.
We finished Zoo Phonics this week and started learning some of our spooky October songs.
Another great week!
Remember: Short week next week due to teacher work days.  Class will be held on Monday and Tuesday only.
Cute (And CRAZY) kids of the week:

Thanks!

That last kid is a nutball. Next blog post would you mind including the title and author for the book you read about a hand knocking on a door (if that makes sense)? PJ won't stop talking about how great it is. He's sure loving preschool!

Love the pictures! We love you and think you are such a great teacher! My mom wanted me to tell you that she thinks you are wonderful as well and is glad that you are teaching her grandson. ;) Every time anyone asks Bub about preschool he says "It's great!"
